About me

I have always had a passion for fitness and working out. Starting in my teenage years using barbell and dumbbell sets at home. Then I progressed on to joining a gym and started working with a PT called Dan. Where I started doing Spartan 300 workouts which I extremely enjoyed.

The drive for helping people started and I used to have friends come and train with me all the time. I became dedicated to helping other people. That I had a chat with Dan about how I go about developing myself further. And he said I would need to do a PT qualification. Which would be a level 3.

So from this chat I progressed on to complete a level 2 fitness instructor course via a college. I then tried to get a job in a gym and kept getting knocked back.

I did some volunteer work in youth centre gyms, and some maternity cover roles in gyms and leisure centres. While gaining some CPD courses, which I now have a vast array of qualifications. I was always getting told I needed to have a level 3 to gain a foot in the door of a gym properly.

I was involved in a motorcycle accident and tore my shoulder apart. Thus making it so I couldn’t raise my arm and needed some treatment in hospital. After having an operation to fix my shoulder, I did my own rehab. This rehab helped very quickly and I was back training after a few months. It is still a work in progress and is taking time to be back to how it originally was.

I have since qualified level 3 personal trainer and started helping people. The passion for aiding people have a better quality of life is there more than ever. And my passion for increasing my knowledge and gaining CPD is increasing each and every day.

Along with my personal training I have also gained the ability to teach Martial Arts through the help of Matt Fiddes. I am still needing to add more training for this but I am in very early stages of starting this new development. I have started with Fusion classes which I will be starting to teach from May 2023.
